Kia Picanto prices revealed

Kia has revealed prices for its all-new Picanto supermini.

Starting at 7995, the entry-level 1 trim is 11% more expensive than the car it replaces, but now comes with six airbags and stability control as standard. With emissions of just 99g/km, the 1.0 version is cleaner than the previous car, and zero-rated for road tax. At 68bhp it is also more powerful than its predecessor.

Mid-range '2' cars cost from 9595 with the 1.0-litre and add Bluetooth, manual air conditioning and electric windows. Prices top out at 11,195 for a 1.25-litre 3 spec car which has climate control.

Still to come
Entry to the range will become cheaper in October, with the arrival of the new three-door car. Kia is also planning to add a more sporty version to the range, along with a range of three-door special editions.
