McLaren supercar enters production

McLaren's Ferrari-baiting MP4-12C has finally entered production at the company's HQ in Woking, Surrey.

Chassis 01 will be ready by the spring and followed by up to 1000 more of the supercars this year.

The 168,500 supercar is powered by a 592bhp 3.8-litre V8 and is a direct rival for the Ferrari 458.
