Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake planned
* CLA estate in the pipeline * A-Class family grows to four variants * No plans for sportier bodystyle...

The Mercedes A-Class family will grow even further than the new CLA saloon and GLA SUV, according to the company's design boss, Gordon Wagener.
Speaking to What Car?, Wagener admitted that the company is planning an estate version of the CLA saloon, creating a baby CLS Shooting Brake. He said: 'The CLA is a four-door coupe as well, so why not do it?'
Wagener also revealed that rumours of a sportier A-Class model, such as a small coupe or soft-top were unfounded. He told What Car?: 'We don't need a sports car, the market is declining.'
UK order books for the CLA saloon opened last month, with the first deliveries expected in June.
