Next Alfas called Milano and Giulia

Alfa Romeo will call its next two cars the Milano and Giulia, according to documents released as part of Chryslers proposed alliance with Alfa's parent company, Fiat.

advertisment

The Milano will replace the Alfa Romeo 147 and Alfa's 159 will become the Giulia. The new names were revealed in Chryslers viability plan, which the company yesterday submitted to the US Government.

It was also revealed in the document that all future Alfas will use names instead of numbers.

If the union between Chrysler and Fiat/Alfa Romeo goes ahead, Chrysler will use Alfa platforms for its own future models.
