The Nissan Juke will be unveiled at the Geneva motor show in March before going on sale in the UK towards the end of the year. It is a small crossover car that Nissan says will sit between the Note and Qashqai.

Juke to retain Qazana's 'funky' styling
The Qazana concept car was one of the stars of last year's Geneva motor show because of its funky exterior styling and motorcycle-inspired interior.

The Juke retains the Qazana's unusual headlights that taper to a point high on the bonnet, along with the chunky wheelarches albeit slightly toned down.

The motorbike-seat-and-tank-inspired centre console is also expected to stay.

Simon Thomas, Nissan's European senior vice president for sales and marketing said: 'Nissan caught the mood of the European car-buying public with the Qashqai crossover and we've worked hard to study the market in the same way for the Juke.

'We're confident that the Juke will bring a new generation of customers to Nissan, in the same way that Qashqai did.'

The Nissan Juke will be built at Nissan's factory in Sunderland.
