Nissan's 'Plus' points
* Special-edition Micra and Note * Extra kit for 500 * Standard cars give better discounts...
Nissan has launched special-edition versions of its Micra and Note models.
Based on the standard Visia models, but costing 500 more, the special editions are called Visia+.
The Micra Visia+ has air-conditioning and a 78bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine, instead of the standard 64bhp unit.
Buyers also have the choice of orange seat trim and a brown finish to the dashboard, although the standard grey finish is also available. Prices start from 7995 for the three-door manual.
The Note Visia+ includes air-con and Nissan's Flexi-Board storage system. You can choose from an 86bhp 1.4-litre petrol, 108bhp 1.6-litre petrol or 84bhp 1.5-litre diesel engine. Prices start from 10,595.
However, keen hagglers likely to get a better discount by negotiating on standard models rather than special editions.
