North vs south

North vs south
You might have assumed that servicing costs would be much lower in the north than they are in the south.

advertisment

While the average maximum and minimum prices were a bit cheaper in the north for the Citron and the Volkswagen, it certainly wasn't worth driving hundreds of miles just to get a saving of between 7 and 19.

With the Jaguar XF, though, it was actually cheaper to have the work done in the south and the savings were bigger, too. The average maximum charge from our southern garages was 23 less than in the north, at 360. The average minimum was 209, which was a 44 saving over the north.
