The Nissan e-NV200 is also easy and cost-effective to charge. You can plug it into a home or work wall-mounted 7kW charger for an eight-hour overnight charge when it’s not being used, making the most of cheaper electric rates. Or, you can charge it from 20% to 80% in 60 minutes on a public 50kW rapid charger – a perfect fit for your lunch break, if you need a quick top up in the middle of the working day.
With powerful load-friendly instant electric torque, 4.2m3 of cargo space, and a 705kg maximum payload, it’s as practical and useable as its petrol or diesel equivalent. Alternatively, there’s the five- or seven-seat e-NV200 combi passenger carrier, or the XL Voltia conversion which offers up to 8m3 of cargo space.
Electric vans like the e-NV200 are exempt from congestion and Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) charges, saving you £27.50 per day (or £7150 a year) in London. You can also run the e-NV200 for as little as 3.5p per mile, compared to 9.2p per mile for an equivalent diesel van, while servicing costs are 20-30% cheaper.
