There are two options an auxiliary input and a proper iPod interface, which allows you to charge your iPod on the move and change tracks etc. using the stereo controls.

Fox
No iPod connectivity available.

Polo
A dash-mounted iPod interface kit is standard on Match trim only.

Golf
An armrest iPod interface is standard on the Match, and costs 275 on the rest of the range. An auxiliary-input socket also comes as standard with satellite-navigation (which costs from 1400).

Golf Plus
An armrest iPod interface can be specced on all models, and costs from 150 (depending on trim). An auxiliary input socket also comes as standard with sat-nav (which costs from 1400).

Golf Estate
An auxiliary-input socket comes as standard with satellite navigation (which costs from 1450), or can be bought separately for 25.

Beetle
An auxiliary-input socket comes with the standard-fit stereo. Or, for 160, you can go for an iPod interface in the armrest.

Jetta
Nothing as standard. An armrest iPod interface can be specced on all models and costs from 150 (depending on trim). An auxiliary-input socket also comes as standard with sat-nav (which costs from 1450).

Eos
An armrest iPod interface can be specced on all models and costs from 150 (depending on trim). An auxiliary-input socket also comes as standard with sat-nav (which costs from 1465).

Touran
An armrest iPod interface can be specced on the S trim for 285. An auxiliary-input socket also comes as standard with sat-nav (which costs from 1175).

Passat (saloon and estate)
An armrest iPod interface can be specced on all models and costs from 160 (depending on trim). An auxiliary-input socket also comes as standard with sat-nav (which costs from 1215 (saloon) and 1460 (estate) on the S, SE, Highline and Sport. An auxiliary-input socket can also be bought separately for 25.

Sharan
No iPod connectivity available.

Tiguan
The standard radio has an auxiliary-input socket across the range.

Touareg
SE trim upwards gets sat-nav as standard, which comes with an auxillary-input socket. On the base trim it costs 1800.

Phaeton
You get an auxiliary-input socket with the standard sat-nav system on all models.

Volvo
An auxiliary input is standard on all Volvos apart from the S60. This allows you the option of plugging your iPod or MP3 player into the cars stereo.

For 280 (excluding fitting) theres also a dealer fit kit available on the C30, S40/V50, V70/XC70, XC90 and new S80. This enables you to control your iPod from the stereo and steering wheel control. You also get a USB cable, to play MP3 music files from any USB memory stick.
