A brilliant electric car and the best effort yet from the fledgling Genesis brand. Go for the cheapest RWD Premium model for the best value for money, although bear in mind that an equivalent Kia EV6 (almost identical underneath) will cost you slightly less.

This entry-level version is the one to go for. That's partly because it's the cheapest way into a GV60, but also because it has the longest range between charges – and you also get a generous amount of standard equipment.

Unlike the other versions of the GV60, the entry-level 168kW Premium feeds all its 226bhp to the rear wheels, instead of all four. It gets the same 77.4kWh battery as the rest, giving it the best official range – 321 miles on a single charge.
