Used Range Rover Velar 17-present review

Alternatives
Review continues below...

What alternatives should I consider to a used Land Rover Range Rover Velar estate?

The BMW X4 has one of the best infotainment systems in the business and with adaptive dampers, it drives nicely too. However, if you want practicality, you’d be better served with an X3.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe has like it or loathe it looks and even with air-suspension, it leans over heavily in corners. The lower roofline also compromises rear seat and boot space quite dramatically.

Verdict

The Range Rover Velar is stylish, refined and seriously appealing SUV, but there are better finished and more practical alternatives

  • Refined V6 engines
  • Stylish interior
  • Good off road
  • Average rear leg-room
  • Fiddly infotainment
  • Some cheap plastics inside
