The car in question is the 535d M Sport, and the discount brings the price down to £37,252. The deal is available on Drivethedeal.com.
Other discounts that have cropped up in this week's deals include the Audi TT, which has a £3489 saving, thanks to Uknewcars.com. The version on offer is the 2.0 TDi Quattro Black Edition, which is available for £26,976.
A more practical option is the Honda CR-V, which has a £3400 saving, again on Drivethedeal.com. The 2.2 i-DTEC SE-T version costs £24,570 as a result.
