2018 Kia Ceed review - verdict
Our early prototype drive reveals the new Ceed is a promising family hatchback...
It’s hard to give a full verdict on the Ceed just yet, becuase there’s still quite a lot of work to be done between now and when it goes on sale in the UK. Between now and then there’s fit and finish to get right, sound-proofing to add, and perhaps even suspension and steering to tweak.
That last bit, though, is one of the aspects that needs the least work. The Ceed is already a very respectable car to drive and once the rest of the package is finalised, we’d expect this to be seriously competitive in the family hatchback market.
