Bentley Supersports 'Ice Speed Record'

Four-time World Rally Champion Juha Kankkunen set a world record a few weeks ago by driving an adapted Bentley Continental Supersports convertible at 205.48mph on the frozen sea off the coast of Finland.

The car Juha set the record in is on display at Geneva, and to celebrate the achievement Bentley has built the Supersports 'Ice Speed Record' Convertible, which makes its debut here, too.

Just 100 of the models will be made and it will be the most powerful Bentley yet.

Under the bonnet is a 631bhp, 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine paired to a six-speed automatic gearbox driving all four wheels.

The Supersports 'Ice Speed Record' is capable of 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds and can reach 100mph in 9.5 seconds. Its top speed is 202mph.

The car comes in three colours Beluga, Quartzite and Arctica White complemented by a dark grey metallic soft top.

Bentley says it will reveal prices for the Supersports 'Ice Speed Record' after the Geveva show.
