BMW to increase UK testing

BMW will increase its testing on UK roads ahead of new car launches.

BMW traditionally fine-tunes the suspension and other settings on its cars in the UK ahead of launch, but it's now going to put more emphasis on UK testing earlier in a new car's development programme.

'We have always recognised that UK roads have a unique surface, and especially, unusual cambers,' said a BMW spokesman. 'Now our engineers will spend more time in the UK to account for that.'
