First, there was the Bugatti Veyron, a 987bhp supercar with a top speed of 253.81mph and a price of approximately 810,000.
Then there was the Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang, which was essentially the same car but without paint. That didnt stop it from being more expensive than the regular Veyron, though. Only five were ever built and they were all sold before anyone released an official price.
Now, here in Geneva, there's the Veyron Hermes. Once again, it's a limited edition and, once again, it has sold out before we could pretend to be a potential buyer and ask the price.
Still, at least buyers will get more for their money this time, including a little bit of history: Hermes supplied leather for Ettore Bugattis cars in the early part of the previous century. This time around, a more luxurious interior is also part of the arrangement, as are some subtle exterior modifications.
