Mercedes has added two new features to its Pre-Safe crash prevention and protection package. Full emergency braking is automatically applied and the seatbelts are tensioned if a crash is considered inevitable. The sensors that the entire system relies on also have increased range and capability.

The two outer rear passengers will get adaptive seatbelt force limiters like the people in front.
