Deal of the Day: Lease a Hyundai i10 from £158 per month

The Hyundai i10 might be small, but it offers big value for money, and our deals could save you a packet on leasing one...

Budget small cars can be a great investment; for a small amount of money, they can transport you from the suburbs to the city centre with ease, and some of them come with surprising practicality and comfort. The Hyundai i10 is a shining example of this, and you can get one for a keen price with our leasing deals.

Indeed, thanks to our deals, you could put a brand new i10 on your driveway for as little as £158 per month. To do that, you’ll need to sign up for a 48-month contract with an annual mileage limit of 5000 miles, and an initial payment of £1887.48. The annual 5000 mile restriction isn’t a huge allowance, so you’ll have to be careful to avoid excess mileage charges.

If you regularly cover more miles, you could opt for a more common 36-month, 10,000-mile agreement with six months initial rental (£1188.06), which will cost £198.01 per month.

Today's Deal of the Day comes kitted out with the i10’s entry-level 1.0-litre petrol engine, which pumps out 62bhp. That’s enough to cart you around town comfortably. The i10 is also one of the best small cars for comfort, absorbing lumps and bumps in the road better than rivals like the Kia Picanto or Suzuki Swift.

You won’t be bored while driving the i10, either, thanks to its precise steering and tight turning circle which make pootling around town a breeze. The entry-level engine is also surprisingly hushed, and it’s matched to our preferred manual gearbox.

It’s easy to get comfortable in the driver’s seat of the i10, which is supportive, height-adjustable, and well-placed in relation to the pedals and steering wheel, so long journeys should be reasonably enjoyable.

Rear passengers shouldn’t have many issues stretching out either, because the i10 is surprisingly roomy for its size, with enough space to fit five people.

Inside, there are plenty of easy-to-reach physical controls, which feel well put together and wouldn’t be out of place on a more expensive model. There’s an 8.0in infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone mirroring, and an integrated sat-nav app.

Our Deal of the Day comes well-equipped with entry-level Advance trim. That includes automatic headlights, cruise control, air-con, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearlever and parking aids.
