Deal of the Day: Lease a Skoda Enyaq from £310 per month

The Skoda Enyaq has long been a shining example of the fact that you don’t need to dig deep to put a decent electric car on your driveway. Indeed, it’s competitively priced against rivals, and you could save even more on one thanks to our leasing deals.

With our latest deals, you can get your hands on an Enyaq for as little as £310 a month. To do that, you’ll need to sign up for a 24-month contract with an annual mileage limit of 5000 miles, and an initial payment of £3710.04. The annual 5000 mile restriction isn’t a huge allowance, so you’ll have to be careful to avoid excess mileage charges.

If you regularly cover more miles, you could opt for a more common 36-month, 10,000-mile agreement with six months initial rental (£2590.92), which will cost £431.82 per month.

You can have your Enyaq one of two ways: there’s the 60 model, which gets 201bhp, or the 85 model, which pumps out 282bhp. Our Deal of the Day is the more powerful model, and it comes equipped with all-wheel drive, too. Thanks to that extra boost in power, the 85 is quicker off the line than rivals like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.

With an official 359 miles of range, the 85 model can travel almost 100 miles farther than the entry-level version, and it should be more than enough for most buyers.

You’ll be hard pressed to find an electric car more comfortable than the Enyaq for the same money. Our Deal of the Day comes equipped with sports suspension, which should make for some more driving fun.

If you’re a fan of that lofty SUV-style driving position, then the Enyaq won’t disappoint, because you’re placed higher up from the road than in most rivals. Adjustable lumbar support is standard across the range, so you shouldn’t have too many issues getting comfortable. Our Deal of the Day is kitted out with Sportline trim, which gets you some more supportive sports seats.

With that trim, you also get a 360-degree bird’s eye view camera to offset the somewhat restricted visibility over your shoulder.

Inside, the Enyaq has a 13.0in infotainment touchscreen positioned high up on the dashboard and tilted towards the driver. We found it easy to reach on the go, and the software is pleasantly responsive. Other creature comforts include DAB radio, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone mirroring, sat-nav and two USB-C sockets up front.

The Enyaq’s big selling point is its huge amount of space for both front and rear passengers, so much so that even six-footers won’t have any issues stretching out. The 585-litre boot space managed to swallow nine carry-on suitcases under the slide-out load cover – more than in a VW ID 4.
