Ford has dropped all its car prices with immediate effect, by introducing the 15% VAT rate early.
The 2.5% drop in VAT was announced by the Chancellor in his Pre-Budget Report earlier this week, and officially comes into effect on Monday.
However, Ford has said it will reduce prices right away so long as payment and legal transfer takes place on or after the December 1 official start date.
The VAT reduction will mean a saving of around 350 on a 15,000 car.
Parts and servicing prices will also fall as a result of the tax change.
