Ford's 100 years in photos 3/52

Ford is celebrating 100 years in Britain by delving into its archive of photographs.

This week, the star of the show is the Cortina which sold more than four million cars over its 20-year lifespan up to 1982.

Instantly recognisable to fans of The Sweeney and The Avengers, this impressive pair of posters bade farewell to the much-loved model. It's stuck to the poster with Araldite.
