If youre buying
Look for adverts with as much information as possible. You want to know about the cars vital statistics: age, mileage, specification, colour etc. Look carefully to see if there are any extras that werent standard on that make and model if its missing anything obvious, such as air-con, it could be a non-standard import.

If youre selling
Theres usually a limit to the number of words you can have in an ad, so make them count. Avoid tired phrases such as: genuine reason for sale and one careful owner theyre over-used and will turn many buyers off. Above all, be honest a disappointed shopper wont buy the car.
