Unlimited 170mph Vauxhall Insignia VXR

Vauxhall is now offering an unrestricted version of its fast Insignia VXR, called the Unlimited.

Although it doesn't have any more power than the standard car's 321bhp, or change its 0-60mph time of 5.6 seconds, it does increase the top speed from 155mph to 170mph.

We're not sure which racetrack you might use to explore that potential top speed, but the Unlimited car also gets a blue Brembo logo on the front brake calipers and new dials with changed increments.

The package is available on saloon, hatch and estate versions of the car with either manual or automatic gearboxes. The transmission, chassis, suspension, four-wheel-drive system and limited-slip differential are unchanged from the standard VXR's.
