Used Citroen C4 Cactus vs Suzuki Vitara
Fashion meets rationality; but which is the best used buy out of the Citroën C4 Cactus and Suzuki Vitara?...
Our Verdict
It’s a very close call. The C4 Cactus has the better engine and a more stylish, upmarket interior, but the Vitara has more equipment, is better to drive and has a more practical interior.
But, as is often the way when running a used test, cost plays a major factor in deciding an overall winner. A used Vitara SZ-T with around 20,000 miles will set you back around £11,500; a C4 Cactus Feel with similar mileage is £2500 less. Were the difference a few hundred pounds, we’d suggest that the Vitara would be the better purchase, but when the saving is this great, it’s hard to ignore how much of a bargain the C4 Cactus is.
