Used Toyota Yaris Hatchback 2011 - present review

Used Toyota Yaris Hatchback (11 - present)
Review continues below...

Which used Toyota Yaris hatchback should I buy?

Initially, the third-generation Toyota Yaris was available in T2, TR, SR and top-spec T Spirit trims. These were replaced in early 2014 with Active, Icon and the short-lived Icon Plus and Trend. That’s because the latter two made way for Sport and Excel trims in the mid-2014 facelift. The 2017 alterations brought in Bi-Tone, which means the Yaris comes in two colours on the outside, with a similar two-tone treatment given to the dashboard and door cards.

The important thing to know is that entry-level models lacked air conditioning. As such, it’s worth upgrading to TR or Icon, which include features such as electrically controlled door mirrors, a reversing camera and a touchscreen system. Higher up in the range, other trims included sat-nav, a panoramic glass roof and dual-zone climate control.

From 2015, the hybrid models became available in the entry-level Active specification. Hybrid cars also come with some desirable extras, such as climate control, which is usually reserved for higher-spec models.
