The 2013 Peugeot RCZ coupe, has made its debut at the Paris motor show, and the face-lifted range will include a hot 'R' model for the first time.
The new Peugeot RCZ-R will be billed as a concept car at the show, but the production car will go on sale in autumn 2013, powered by a 260bhp 1.6-litre turbocharged engine.
To make the most of the extra power it will get an uprated chassis, with a limited-slip differential. It will also benefit from visual enhancements, inside and out, to keep it competitive with rivals such as the Audi TT, Hyundai Veloster and Toyota GT86.
The face-lifted RCZ will hit the showrooms in January. The bulk of the changes are cosmetic it's been given a new front-end look to fit in with the latest Peugeot models, with fresh headlights, bumper and grille.
New alloy wheels, decal and colour options will be available.

The interior has been given a more upmarket feel on both regular and GT models, and there are also minor equipment upgrades and more sophisticated sat-nav options.
The engine line-up stays the same until the arrival of the RCZ R however: a choice of two 1.6-litre turbocharged petrols and a 2.0-litre turbodiesel.
Prices are yet to be revealed, but there's likely to be a small increase over the current model, which starts from 21,210.
