Q) I received a speeding fine in the post, but have realised out my car was flashed while a friend was driving it. My friend doesn't want to confess, but neither do I for obvious reasons. What should I do?

A) You have a legal obligation to identify the driver of your car at the time of the offence. If you're sure your friend was driving, you should inform the police. Failing to do so could land you in hot water.
