It may lack the premium feel of the Land Rover Defender and certainly won’t be able to take you as far off road, but the Dacia Jogger excels at moving seven people for not much money. In fact, it’s the cheapest seven-seater you can buy.
There’s more to like here than just a low price, though, because the Jogger impresses both with the spaciousness of its interior – adult passengers won’t complain, whether they’re in the second or third row of seats – and because it’s very easy to drive. The 109bhp 1.0-litre petrol engine offers all the pulling power you’re likely to need and should help to keep your running costs in check.
Our recommended Expression trim gives you most of the equipment you’ll want, including keyless entry, cruise control and rear parking sensors, but it’s worth noting that the Jogger misses out on some of the safety kit that more expensive seven-seaters come with.
