Deal of the Day: Save more than £5000 on a new Fiat 600
The Fiat 600 offers retro looks and frugal engines, and you could save a packet on one with our deals...

If you’re in the market for a car with standout looks, but that still provides the space for carrying a small family and doesn’t cost a fortune to run, then the Fiat 600 might be for you. As a mild hybrid small SUV, it offers the lofty driving position that’s well sought after by buyers nowadays, while also being kind on your fuel bills.
So, if the 600 sounds like it could fit nicely on your driveway, then you’ll be pleased to know that you can save a packet on a new one with our free online New Car Deals service.
- Save £5365 on a new Fiat 600 1.2 MHEV e-DCT Euro 6
- Save £5637 on a new Fiat 600 1.2 MHEV La Prima e-DCT Euro 6
You can have your Fiat 600 with either 99bhp or 134bhp. Both of them use a 1.2-litre engine and come assisted by a mild hybrid setup comprising a 21bhp electric motor and tiny 0.89kWh battery. No matter which option you choose, you’ll get a six-speed automatic gearbox.
The 600 stands out from other mild hybrid cars with its ability to travel at up to 18mph for up to 0.6 miles on pure electric power.
Both engines are sufficiently punchy, with the more potent option completing a 0-62mph sprint quicker than rivals like the Ford Puma and Lexus LBX. While the 600 isn't quite as comfortable as other small SUVs on the market, it feels right at home around town, where its sharp handling and tight turning circle make it easy to manoeuvre.

Inside, you get a 10.3in infotainment touchscreen equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone mirroring as standard, alongside a 7.0in digital driver’s display. The infotainment screen has crisp graphics, but we wish it was more responsive.
Our preferred engine is the 99bhp option, and you could save up to £5365 on one when you specify entry-level 600 trim. With that, you get a nice amount of equipment as standard, including 17in alloy wheels, LED headlights, climate control and a faux-leather steering wheel.
Or, you could get all that kit with the more potent 134bhp version, and save up to £5352.
Stepping up to top-spec La Prima trim adds a host of creature comforts, which we think are worth it if you can spare the extra cash. It comes with 18in alloy wheels, keyless entry and start, faux-leather upholstery, an electrically-adjustable driver’s seat, a powered tailgate, adaptive cruise control, 360-degree parking sensors and a reversing camera to offset the rather lacklustre rear visibility. When you match this with the 134bhp engine, you can save up to £5367.
