Driving Assistant (£390)
This package brings safety equipment including automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and a driver attention monitor to the 1 Series. We reckon anything which improves safety is worth going for, so it's definitely something we'd add.
18in alloy wheels (£1175)
You can specify larger alloy wheels on your 1 Series, but they don’t do the car’s ride any favours. Best to save your money and stick with the standard 16in alloy wheels instead.
