Snow chaos causes 4x4 clamour

According to whatcar.com stats, last week, as the freezing conditions gripped the UK, 4x4s virtually locked out our top 10 car searches.

Hyundai's Santa Fe was our most popular car review, knocking perennial favourites the Volkswagen Golf and Polo off the top spots.

There were surprise entries for the Honda CR-V and Skoda Yeti, while the Golf was the only non 4x4/crossover to make it into the top 10.
