Features
The materials used in the construction of the Duo Plus Isofix feel good, although the rubberised strap covers aren't the most comfortable. There's no close-fitting headrest to hold your child's head still, either, while there are just three recline positions for the seat.
Ease of operation
Hooking the seat up to Isofix mounts is an easy job, but, as with any Isofix seat, the shape of your car seats may make finding the mounts a bit frustrating. Indicators let you know when you've connected it up properly, and you can still fit the seat with the three-point belts if you wish. There are no fewer than seven height settings for the harness, and it's easy to adjust.
Buying
Of all the seats tested, this is the most cost-effective way of getting an Isofix design. You don't miss out on many features because of the price, but it would be nice if a headrest were part of the deal.
Quality
Britax hasn't cut corners on overall build quality, but some of the fabrics don't feel as hardwearing as on other examples.
