New Suzuki Ignis vs Dacia Duster

7. Suzuki Ignis 1.2 Dualjet SZ3

Target Price cost per month £144 Target Price (on the road) £10,387 The deal Three years at 6.9% APR

Suzuki Ignis

Don't be fooled by the Ignis's small size – this is one seriously impressive SUV. It's deceptively spacious, offers a generous amount of equipment and is very cheap to buy and run. Indeed, the Ignis is the most frugal car we've ever put through our True MPG test.

6. Dacia Duster 1.6 SCe 115 Access

Target Price cost per month £118 Target Price (on the road) £9699 The deal Three years at 6.9% APR and £250 finance deposit allowance

Dacia Duster

The Duster is the cheapest new SUV you can buy in the UK and it's also spacious inside. Just be aware that this is the Access version, meaning there are relatively few luxuries. You do, however, get electric front windows and remote central locking.

5. Skoda Citigo 1.0 MPI SE L 5dr

Target Price cost per month £140 Target Price (on the road) £9444 The deal Three years at 6.8% APR and £1500 finance deposit allowance

5. Skoda Citigo

The Citigo may be based on the same underpinnings as the Seat Mii and Volkswagen Up, but it's cheaper than either of those cars to buy. Factor in its surprisingly roomy interior and enjoyable drive, and it's one of the best city cars you can buy.
