New Hyundai i10 vs Volkswagen Up

4. Hyundai i10 1.0 SE 5dr

Target Price cost per month £147 Target Price (on the road) £9900 The deal Three years at 4.9% APR and £500 finance deposit allowance

Hyundai i10

We're big fans of the i10, which is one of the best city cars you can buy. It's nimble and surprisingly spacious inside, and even though ultimately we prefer the better equipment you get on Premium SE models, this SE version still comes with a reasonable amount of kit including air conditioning and cruise control.

3. Volkswagen Up 1.0 90 Move Up 5dr [Start/Stop]

Target Price cost per month £138 Target Price (on the road) £10,321 The deal Three years at 0% APR

Volkswagen Up

The Up is fundamentally the same car underneath as the Seat Mii and Skoda Citigo, but adds an extra dash of luxury inside. It's good to drive, especially in town, and has an economical range of three-cylinder petrol engines.

New Ford Fiesta & Seat Ibiza vs Skoda Fabia

Skoda's answer to the Ford Fiesta is a former What Car? Car of the Year, and it remains one of our favourite small cars. It has a spacious and practical interior, a smart standard infotainment system and is good to drive.
