Deal of the Day: Lease a Volkswagen Tiguan from £270 per month
The Volkswagen Tiguan is a practical and popular family SUV, and you could lease one for a keen price with our deals...

In the highly-competitive family SUV market, it can be difficult for a car to truly stand out, but the Volkswagen Tiguan seems to have carved a space for itself in the market. It’s consistently at the top of the UK sales charts here in the UK – and for good reason too.
Indeed, this family SUV not only offers a range of engine options for buyers to choose from, it’s also spacious inside and good to drive. So, if that all sounds good to you, then you might be pleased to know that you could put a new Tiguan on your driveway for as little as £241 per month.
To do that, you’ll need to opt for a 24-month contract with an annual mileage limit of 5000 miles, and an initial payment of £3236.21. The annual 5000 mile restriction isn’t a huge allowance, so you’ll have to be careful to avoid excess mileage charges.
If you regularly cover more miles, you could opt for a more common 36-month, 10,000-mile agreement with six months initial rental (£2022.77), which will cost £337.13 per month.

You can have your Tiguan with a plethora of engines, but our Deal of the Day comes with the mid-level 148bhp mild hybrid petrol option. With that juice, it can sprint from 0-62mph in 9.1sec – slower than the Volvo XC40 B3, but still pleasantly peppy.
Despite its slightly firm suspension, the Tiguan is pretty comfortable to ride in, taking out most of the sting from bumps in the road. It can get a bit choppy on faster, uneven roads, though. Its automatic gearbox is swift and changes gears unobtrusively.

SUV fans will appreciate the Tiguan’s lofty driving position, which gives you a great view of the road ahead. On top of that, all versions come with front and rear parking sensors, as well as a rear-view camera, as standard.
Both the driver’s seat and steering wheel have plenty of adjustment, so you shouldn’t have any issues getting comfortable. Powered, adjustable lumbar support is standard on all trims, too.
Elsewhere inside, there’s a configurable 10.3in driver’s display alongside a 12.9in infotainment touchscreen, complete with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone-charging, USB-C ports, sat-nav, natural-speech voice-control system and an eight-speaker stereo.
Inside, you’ll find everything feels well put-together and built to last, with plenty of soft-touch, leather-like materials across the doors and dashboard. There are some scratchy plastics lower down, but they’re kept away from the areas you touch regularly. The pricier Genesis GV70 feels slightly more upmarket, though.
There’s plenty of space for tall adults in both the front and the rear of the Tiguan, plus mounds of storage up front. With 652 litres of boot space, the Tiguan is more practical than most of its rivals – in fact, it’s so big we managed to fit nine carry-on suitcases below the parcel shelf. The rear seats fold in a handy 40/20/40 split for maximum versatility.
Our Deal of the Day comes in our favourite Match trim, which comes with keyless entry, a powered tailgate and rear privacy glass, on top of the standard 18in alloy wheels, three-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, ambient lighting and power-folding door mirrors.
