Deal of the Day: Save more than £10,000 on a new Seat Leon
The Seat Leon is one of the best family cars you can buy, and our deals could save you thousands on one...

The Seat Leon is a bit of a dark horse in that it’s often overshadowed and outsold by its closest rivals, even though we rate it higher than many of them. Indeed, we think that the Leon is up there as one of the best family cars you can buy, with a wide range of trims and engines to suit most drivers.
So, if that all sounds good to you, you might be pleased to know that you could save a packet on a new Leon with our free online New Car Deals service.
- Save £7420 on a new Seat Leon 1.5 TSI FR Sport
- Save £9525 on a new Seat Leon 1.5 TSI FR Black Edition
- Save £10,470 on a new Seat Leon 2.0 TDI EVO FR Black Edition
You can have your Seat Leon with petrol, diesel or mild hybrid power, so finding one that’s right for you shouldn’t be too difficult.
The entry point to the Leon range is a 1.0-litre TSI 110 petrol engine, which offers 109bhp. While it’s the least powerful option, it pulls well from low revs and doesn’t struggle to keep up with fast traffic.
However, if you want a bit of a boost, you can opt for a larger 1.5-litre TSI 130 petrol engine, or the 1.5-litre TSI 150, which pumps out 148bhp. Opting for the latter with FR Sport trim – which gets you 18in wheels, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, sports suspension and an electric driver’s seat – will save you up to £7420. All that kit is on top of the air-conditioning, keyless start and cruise control that come as standard.

You could also opt for that engine with FR Black Edition trim for a saving of up to £9525. As you might have guessed, that trim adds black accents on the wheels and wing mirrors, as well as a black roof spoiler and a panoramic roof.
If mild hybrid power sounds like it would be right for you, there’s the option to specify the TSI 150 engine with mild hybrid power. It comes matched to an automatic gearbox and, in FR Sport trim, gets you a discount of up to £7237.
To really keep your fuel bills at a minimum, it’s worth looking at the diesel options. Powered by a 2.0-litre TDI engine, you can choose between either 113bhp of power or 148bhp. When you opt for the more powerful version in FR Black Edition trim, you’ll earn the biggest saving of up to £10,470.
Inside, higher-spec versions of the Leon get a 12.9in infotainment touchscreen, which comes with a sat-nav, DAB radio and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. FR models and above also get wireless phone charging.
The Leon isn’t short of space either, with plenty of room for taller drivers and passengers. Boot space is respectable for its class, matching the Ford Focus and Volkswagen Golf – but if you need extra space, there’s an estate version on offer (the Seat Leon Estate).
