New Maserati Levante vs Porsche Macan
Maserati's first ever SUV combines strong performance with plenty of space for four. But is it a better choice than the Porsche Macan?...

Our verdict
It’s an easy win for the Porsche Macan. Not only is it cheaper to buy and run than the Levante, it’s more comfortable, much more fun to drive and has a better infotainment system. Only stingy standard equipment and comparatively tight rear leg room let it down.
The Maserati Levante can’t compete on economy or CO2 emissions, and it's nowhere near as quick. Your rear seat passengers may be happier in it, but we'd be selfish and buy the Macan – it's a much better car.
