Updated VW Eos now on sale

Volkswagen's updated and face-lifted Eos convertible is now available to order, with prices starting at 22,895.

Prices are listed with VAT at 20%, although buyers ordering before the January increase should be able to get the 17.5% rate. Find out how to beat the VAT rise here.

The car adopts the VW look that has been seen on many other models, including the Golf and Polo. It features a new grille, bumper and headlights.

The bonnet, front wings, rear lights and bumpers are also new. There are also new trims in the cabin and a leather finish that reflects the sun's rays to prevent it heating up too much.

Remote opening and closing of the five-piece folding metal roof is now available for the first time.

All models except the 158bhp 1.4-litre TSI and 207bhp 2.0-litre TSI carry Bluemotion Technology branding. Cars are available with a six-speed manual or six-speed DSG semi-automatic gearbox.
