S line is for cars that will be used on-road, with an off-road style package that adds underbody protection and 19-inch wheels.

The Q5 can climb a 31-degree slope, and ground clearance is 200mm, with a fording depth of 500mm when driving through water.

Hill Descent CSontrol is also fitted as standard to control the car down steep slopes at speeds of less than 18mph.

The car's stability control and anti-lock brake systems also automatically adapt their settings according to the road surface.

The Q5 is capable of towing up to two tonnes.
