Used Peugeot 3008 2024-present reliability
Category: Family SUV
The Peugeot 3008 has distinctive looks and a plush interior, but used family SUV rivals are better all-rounders

What should I look for in a used Peugeot 3008 4x4?
When viewing a used car, always follow our used car buying checklist.
When viewing a used Peugeot 3008, start by looking at the exterior. Walk around the car and inspect for scratches, dents, parking damage and kerbed alloy wheels, while also checking the tyres for uneven wear that could point to alignment or suspension issues.
Inside, check the seats, rear passenger area and boot for signs of heavy wear, and test all electrical functions, including the infotainment system, driver-assistance tech and smartphone connectivity. A fully documented service history is worth prioritising, along with evidence that any manufacturer recalls or software updates have been completed.
On the road, the 3008 should feel composed and quiet, with no suspension knocks, drivetrain hesitation or abrupt gear changes. It’s also sensible to check for signs of water leaks inside the interior – especially on cars fitted with a panoramic roof – and to make sure the brakes, steering and all interior electronics work exactly as expected.
