What should I look for in a used Peugeot 3008?

What are the most common problems with a used Peugeot 3008?

Even though there are some really nice materials in the 3008, you should still check that there are no rips, tears or stains in the fabric that covers the seats and doors.

In addition, make sure that all the storage areas still have lids on them, if they were there originally. That shouldn't be an issue, though, because the interior seems pretty well screwed together.

The boot is large and capable of swallowing plenty of suitcases. Sensibly, the top of the rear bumper has been left unpainted, so it should handle bags striking it well.

Used Peugeot 3008 reliability: the owners' view

Our readers' feedback highlights a mixed bag in terms of 3008 reliability, with both petrol and diesel variants facing their share of issues.

Common faults mentioned include electronic glitches, such as malfunctioning infotainment systems and erratic warning lights. Mechanical reliability appears slightly better in petrol models, though diesel owners reported more frequent problems with the exhaust system and engine components.

Dealer service experiences also varied, with some readers praising their dealership for prompt and courteous repairs, while others lamented slow service times and occasional lack of communication. A notable point of satisfaction among many was the dealer's willingness to address issues under warranty, though the cost of out-of-warranty repairs was a concern for a few.
