What should I look for in a used Mercedes-Benz EQE?
When viewing a used car, always follow our used car buying checklist.
There isn't anything specific to the EQE to look out for yet. When it was tested by Euro NCAP for safety in 2022, the model was awarded five stars out five, and scored highly for adult and child occupant protection. All versions have automatic emergency braking (AEB).
Is a used Mercedes-Benz EQE reliable?
There were too few examples of the EQE to feature in our latest What Car? Reliability Survey.
As a brand, though, Mercedes came 22nd out of 30 manufacturers featured with an overall score of 90.6%. This puts it above Audi and Jaguar but below BMW and Tesla. Check out the full list of manufacturers here.
Based on that alone, rivals like the Tesla Model 3 and BMW i4 could be more reliable than the EQE. The only electric Mercedes model to feature was in the electric SUV category and it was the Mercedes EQC. It did reasonably well, finishing in 20th place out of 27 cars with an overall score of 89.5%.
