That’s why we went through an exhaustive process to pick the 10 cars which made up our shortlist, before deciding on our eventual winner.
Highly commended were the Volkswagen T-Roc and the Subaru XV, but our overall winner was the Volvo XC60 – thanks to one of the highest Euro NCAP scores we’ve ever seen and class-leading safety technology, including the first Run Off Road protection system.
