The EX30 is an impressive premium small electric SUV. It’s smart on the inside and stylish on the outside, plus it’s quiet and pleasant to drive. If you can live with the car’s frustrating touchscreen-based interior controls, it’s a great used buy. The Extended Range model is our recommended choice for the longest range.
The trim
This is the entry-level trim for the EX30, but it still comes fairly well equipped; 18in alloy wheels, climate control and adaptive cruise control are all included, as is a Google Maps sat-nav app and a Google Assistant voice-control system.
The engine
This is expected to be the most popular version of the EX30 and it’s easy to see why. It has a bigger battery than the entry-level Single Motor, bumping the official range up to 295 miles.
