The EX30 is an impressive premium small electric SUV. It’s smart on the inside and stylish on the outside, plus it’s quiet and pleasant to drive. If you can live with the car’s frustrating touchscreen-based interior controls, it’s a great used buy. The Extended Range model is our recommended choice for the longest range.
The trim
As well equipped as Core trim is, we think it's worth upgrading to this Plus model, because it adds heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control and a powered tailgate.
The engine
This is a quickest version of the EX30. Its two electric motors pump out 422bhp, so it can rocket from 0-62mph in an astonishing 3.6 seconds. However, without any other mechanical upgrades to its steering and suspension, it's no more agile than lesser EX30s and is considerably more expensive.
