In spite of its sporty pretensions and sloping roofline, the Skoda Enyaq Coupé is a practical proposition, with plenty of space for a family and all their kit.

Despite this, though, we'd expect it to sell in smaller numbers in the UK than the regular Enyaq, because while some versions of that car cost less than the £35,000 and therefore qualify for the Government’s £2500 electric car grant, the Coupé is being positioned as a flagship model and will attract a premium.

On the other hand, it should undercut the closely related Audi Q4 e-tron Sportback. And while it will cost more than the Citroën e-C4, the Enyaq Coupé is much bigger.
