The Mercedes Approved Used Scheme continues to go from strength to strength, adding new offers and support to an already market-leading offering.

The latest addition to the Approved Used Van package is MoT test failure cover; this will pay for up to £1500 of MoT repairs during every 12 month warranty period. Only vans of up to six years old are offered through the Approved Used Scheme, and every one is sold with a 12 month warranty, which you can extend to 24 months at extra cost. The scheme even covers electric vehicles, which retain their standard battery warranty of eight years from the date of first registration.

All approved vans are sold with a minimum of three months MoT, as well as 12 months of Mercedes’ 24/7 MobiloVan breakdown cover and roadside assistance. Another new addition is the option of discounted service plans allowing you to plan and spread the cost of your maintenance. If you keep your van serviced by the brand and according to Mercedes-Benz service intervals, that breakdown cover will renew annually – until the van is 30 years old.

Customers can be assured that a van they buy via Mercedes’ Approved Used scheme will meet a strict standard; only vehicles with a full service history and less than 150,000 miles on the clock make it onto the scheme, plus you’ll receive a week’s worth of free insurance to get you on the road, and a promise that no servicing will be needed within the first six months. And if that’s not reassuring enough, there’s a no-quibble returns policy that allows you to change your mind within 10 days.
