It almost goes without saying that we love the Volvo XC40 – it's our current Car of The Year after all. However, that doesn't mean it can rest easy, because the majority of manufacturers have cottoned on to the UK's love of premium family SUVs.
We've gathered together a couple of the XC40's fiercest rivals: the BMW X2 and Jaguar E-Pace. Both have a sleek design, luxurious interior and a ride height that's raised over a standard family hatch, even if, in the X2's case, the latter doesn't amount to much.
Of course, you can read through our in-depth reviews on each of these cars by clicking on their names above. There we'll take you through everything from what they're like to drive, what they're like inside and how much it'll cost you to buy and run one. However, if you prefer, we'll take you through all that information on video here.
So, which of these SUV contenders should you buy? Sit back and let reviews editor Will Nightingale and new cars editor Rory White help you decide.
