Deal of the Day: Lease a Jeep Avenger from £212 per month

The Jeep Avenger is a stylish and competitively priced small SUV – even more so when you take into account our leasing deals...

Jeep Avenger front right driving

If you like the look of Jeep’s rugged off-roaders, but you need something a little more practical for day-to-day driving, then the Jeep Avenger could be an ideal prospect.

Indeed, it’s dinky enough to nip around town, it flaunts trendy SUV looks and it has sensible engine options that offer more than enough power for a daily drive. So, if that all sounds good to you, then you might be pleased to know that you can get an Avenger from just £212 per month with our leasing deals.

To do that, you’ll need to opt for a 36-month contract with an annual mileage limit of 5000 miles, and an initial payment of £2535.60. The annual 5000 mile restriction isn’t a huge allowance, so you’ll have to be careful to avoid excess mileage charges.

If you regularly cover more miles, you could opt for a more common 36-month, 10,000-mile agreement with six months initial rental (£1556.46), which will cost £259.41 per month.

You can have your Avenger with petrol, mild hybrid or pure electric power, but Our Deal of the Day comes with the former – a 1.2-litre petrol engine pumping out 99bhp. That might sound a bit weedy, but we find there’s enough pull from low revs and you won’t have any issues keeping up with motorway traffic. It comes matched to a six-speed manual gearbox.

While the Avenger is the most road-friendly car in Jeep’s line-up, it does benefit from some off-road features, such as hill descent control and sand, snow and mud drive modes that allow it to tackle the great outdoors with relative ease.

The Avenger also capitalises on comfort, with a more forgiving ride than the sporty Ford Puma. That being said, if you want unbeatable smoothness, it’s worth taking a look at the Skoda Kamiq.

You shouldn’t have any trouble getting comfortable inside the Avenger, thanks to its simple, user-friendly design and cheerful finishes. There are a lot of hard and scratchy plastics, but you could argue that it suits Jeep’s rugged reputation.

This version of the Avenger gets a larger 10.3in digital driver’s display behind the wheel, alongside a 10.3in infotainment touchscreen that comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay – which is great, because you have to pay extra for a sat-nav.

While the Avenger isn’t the most practical small SUV on the market, it has some impressive space in the front. The same can’t quite be said for the back, so if you regularly carry around six-foot passengers, you might be better off with a Kamiq or Volkswagen T-Roc.

Our Deal of the Day comes kitted out in Summit trim, which as you might have guessed, sits at the top of the Avenger’s trim line-up. It comes with 18in alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, heated front seats, adaptive cruise control, climate control, a wireless phone charging pad and a powered tailgate.
