Deal of the Day: Lease a Renault Scenic from £251 per month
The Renault Scenic is one of our favourite electric SUVs, and thanks to our leasing deals, you could get one for a keen price...

Historically a rather unfashionable MPV, the Renault Scenic has done a fantastic job of reinventing itself over the years into a stylish electric SUV. Its chunky styling has kept it fresh among its rivals, and it offers a very impressive electric range.
In fact, it’s so good that we consistently rate it among the best in its category, despite being up against fierce competitors like the Kia EV6 and Tesla Model Y. The Scenic is cheaper than those models, too – even more so when you factor in how much you could save with our leasing deals.
Indeed, you can get your hands on a Scenic for as little as £251 a month. To do that, you’ll need to sign up for a 24-month contract with an annual mileage limit of 6000 miles, and an initial payment of £3008.28.
If you regularly cover more miles, you could opt for a more common 36-month, 10,000-mile agreement with six months initial rental (£1961.58), which will cost £326.93 per month.

Two battery options are available with the Scenic: either a 60kWh (usable capacity) unit with a 168bhp electric motor, or a larger 87kWh unit with a 215bhp motor.
Our Deal of the Day comes equipped with the larger battery, and while it’s not quite as nippy as a Model Y, it has enough punch for most drivers.
Where the Scenic really shines is its impressive range. The Long Range 87kWh unit is officially good for up to 381 miles between charges, which is further than any version of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia Niro EV.

Inside, you’ll find a 12.0in Google-based infotainment touchscreen angled towards the driver, kitted out with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone mirroring, as well as plenty of familiar apps such as Google Maps.
Rather than operating everything on the touchscreen, the Scenic gets some physical controls for air conditioning, which are easy to operate on the move – and you won’t find those in a Model Y. On top of that, the interior is a nice place to be, with plenty of soft-touch fabrics where they matter most. There are some hard and scratchy plastics, but they’re not as noticeable as in an Ioniq 5 or EV6.
If you’re in the market for a family SUV, it’s likely that practicality will be a dealbreaker – and the Scenic doesn’t disappoint on that front. There’s plenty of space in the front and rear for even the tallest of passengers and a large amount of interior storage, including capacious door bins, cupholders in the front and rear and a wireless phone charging tray.
With 545 litres, the Scenic trumps most of its rivals on boot space. It managed to swallow seven carry-on suitcases when we tested it – only the exceptionally roomy Model Y could take more.
Our Deal of the Day comes equipped with entry-level Techno trim, which comes with 19in alloy wheels, two-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats and ambient lighting.
